After a first day of testing in wet conditions on Thursday, the #20 Ligier JSP320 first hit the track in dry conditions on Friday for the first free practice session. After challenging practice sessions despite the 3rd place of Charles Crews in the bronze test, Garett Grist managed to qualify the car in 6th place for the race.

At the start, Rob Hodes took a great start and managed to avoid the numerous contacts and incidents to find himself up to second place after la Source. After one hour of stint, he was giving the car to Charles Crews in the leader lap.

Another one hour trouble-free stint saw Charles handing back the wheel to Garett Grist whom, thanks to the alternate strategy, managed to gain numerous places in the race to finish 5th in the LMP3 standings, repeating the same result as Monza and equalling the team’s best ELMS result.

The final race of the European Le Mans Series season will take place in Portimao (Portugal) on October 24th.
