The Ligier European Series kicked off with a stellar performance by Team Virage on a sunny Friday in Barcelona. After dominant pace in each practice session, the beginning of the series saw pole position secured for both car #66 and #1 in races one and two, setting an impressive tone for the races on Saturday.
Saturday’s sessions saw car #1, with Theo Microtis and Haydn Chance, continued dominance by securing back-to-back wins, with sister cars #32 and #66 closely followed in P2, in each respective race. The strong start showcased Team Virage’s competitive edge and determination to excel in the series.
The team is hoping to continue its impressive performance throughout the Ligier European Series in 2024, looking for the 3rd back to back championship title.
Ligier European Series will be back at Le Castellet on the 3rd and 4th of May.
